Pam Hollings McConnell Scholarship Fund
The Pam Hollings McConnell Scholarship Fund honors Pam’s legacy by supporting community artists and youth programs. Pam was an artist and the longest serving President of the MAC’s board at 15 years. She was passionate about the arts, education, and community building in McClellanville. This fund provides support for students with financial need and helps make classes accessible. Your donation helps to ensure that access to creative expression and art education is accessible to all members of our community.
We’re excited to share that donations are being matched by Pam’s Family to the Pam Hollings McConnell Scholarship Fund up to $10,000! This means your contribution can have double the impact. While our immediate goal is to raise $20,000, we hope to continue growing this fund, eventually turning it into a lasting endowment that will support access to the arts for years to come. Every donation, large or small, brings us closer to making this dream a reality and honoring Pam’s legacy in a meaningful, enduring way.

Opening Door for the Arts
At the McClellanville Arts Center (MAC), we believe everyone is an artist. For over 45 years, we’ve provided creative opportunities to our rural community in northern Charleston County, South Carolina. Offering classes, workshops, exhibits, and a shop for local artists, the MAC has always welcomed everyone. Now, thanks to a grant from the South Carolina Arts Commission, we can improve our facilities to be more accessible for all, including those with mobility challenges. To qualify for this funding, we must match the $20,025 grant dollar for dollar by summer 2025. Your donation will help ensure that everyone can fully participate in and enjoy all that the Arts Center offers.
