Drama Club will help each child achieve these invaluable life skills in a fun and creative way! Every Thursday, students 7 and up will participate in a wide range of activities including speech, dramatic movement, improvisation, and introductory scene work,  all in a safe and exciting environment. Meaghan Rose of My Auras Moonstone will lead you through a heart centered guided meditation followed by the vibrations of the sound healing bowls dropping you into a beautiful dream state allowing you to find a deep state of mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual relaxation. Meaghan will also offer energy work on the heart chakra for clearing, rebalancing, and deep grounding connection to mother earth. If you aren’t interested in receiving energy work no worries you will still get the most out of the experience.

Join us on Saturday, December 14th from 10:00 - 3:00 for the return of our Holiday at Hogwarts! This one day camp will be filled with Harry Potter themed arts and crafts, games, treats and a HUGE snowball fight to get everyone feeling festive for the holidays. Whether your child is a long time Harry Potter fan or just getting introduced to the series, this will be a day to talk about for years to come! Suitable for ages 6 and up, spaces extremely limited. Join artist Mary Walker—whose show Scenes from Alice in Wonderland will be hanging in our gallery— for a monoprint workshop on Saturday, November 9, from 9:30 to 5:00.

Mary will demonstrate her methods and lead participants through a process that incorporates plexiglass plates, watercolor underpaintings, oil-based inks, and cut and hand-torn paper stencils. Students will create images to print using the Arts Center’s press.   Cost is $100 for members, $130 for nonmembers. Both adults and teenagers are welcome. Most materials will be supplied, though students are encouraged to bring their own watercolors and brushes.

Join Stacey in October to learn how to use various techniques of painting with alcohol inks. In the third class of the series, learn to make a whimsical flower painted with alcohol inks and canned air. We will paint our flowers on a 6 inch ceramic tile. No experience necessary. Come join us for a fun and creative watercolor workshop.  This is a project based watercolor class where everyone will take home a beautiful sailboat/ocean painting.  This in person event is perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike.  No drawing skills are needed.  Come learn new techniques, blend colors and unleash your creativity.  Supplies will be provided and everyone will leave with a mini watercolor kit to practice at home after the class.  Bring you enthusiasm and willingness to learn.  Don't miss out on this opportunity to dive into a wonderful world of watercolor painting!  See you there.
