The Art of Haiku with Nicole Sloan for rising 2nd and Up (age 7 and up).

Class fee is $20

Students will learn about haiku poems and how just 3 short lines of words can create a vivid picture in the mind. We will explore significant issues like preserving the environment and finding happiness in nature. In this class for younger students, they will learn about the structure and purpose of haiku poems. They will be given a haiku written by the teacher and then create an original piece of artwork inspired by the haiku.
