In this 5 session writing critique group, we’ll be sharing what we’re working on with each other for some helpful criticism and writer camaraderie. All genres and purposes welcome, if you're working on a book to be published or a memoir to share with your family. Led by Kim Livingston, an elementary school librarian who has written for some regional publications and is a pre-published picture book writer. She is a fellow with the Lowcountry Writing Project, has participated in children’s book writing critique groups, and is a member of The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. This is her first writing group she is facilitating. Please bring a light refreshment to share, whatever you'd like to drink and any writing samples you'd like to share with other interested writers. Structure of the group will be discussed at the first meeting, September 19th.
Question for the 1st meeting: Do we want to submit writing samples before and have readers make written notes for suggestions?
