Join us at The MAC on Saturday, April 1st for a one of a kind experience with Mount Pleasant artist, Olivia Williams. With a deep appreciation for nature and animals, Olivia discovered her niche in handcrafting jewelry out of quality, sustainable materials. In 2019, her jewelry line, LIV, was born. All genuine leather used in her pieces is sourced from scrap bags and worn secondhand items. Olivia is passionate about intercepting and using these scraps that would likely end up in landfills. In this 2 hour workshop for all ages 12 and beyond, an introduction to jewelry-making tools and processes will encourage you to explore your own hand-made style. You will then have the opportunity to design and construct your own leather jewelry while gaining skills and knowledge to take with you in future creative endeavors. All attendees will leave with 2 pieces of their own creation; 2 pairs of earrings or 1 pair of earrings and a necklace.
The cost of this workshop is $50.00 and includes all materials. Preregistration is required, seats are limited. Register here.
