This collection of paintings and drawings come from the use of art as therapy. The goal is direct expression, and releasing judgment over the art. There is liberation that comes with a playful approach. Looking to imagination and memory, there may be figures or scenes of reality shown, or the art has no figure or obvious meaning other than mood or color. Working with recycled materials, often on paper and plywood, what can be found cheaply or free is used.
