Celebrate Young Talent

The art students of Lincoln High School are painting a mural on the Cassena Street side of the Arts Center. Under the guidance of their art teacher, mural specialist Annie Purvis, students researched their cultural heritage and designed a mural that embellishes the McClellanville Arts Council logo created by Aaron Baldwin. You can view their progress day by day on our new Facebook page, and, of course, by driving down Pinckney Street.

Join us on Thursday, May 26, at 5 p.m. for the formal presentation of the finished mural, an exhibition featuring the work of Lincoln High School art and carpentry students, and a rousing performance by the fabulous Lincoln Steel Drum band.
